Catherine
The famous Catherine! The friend I have had the most creative activities with and who knew how to keep us busy during our youth! Since we met in 6th grade we have always been very imaginative: making board games, orienteering rallies, parties, role playing games, karaokes... Together we animated our friends' week-ends! Always full of energy and ideas, Catherine is the ideal witness to prepare the wedding party: who better than a friend fond of parties, travels, games, tales, outdoor activities, and social relationships? Catherine was there when I started seeing Silviu, she bravely shared some of our adventures (such as our trips to Romania where she even met a four-legged chicken!), and, always a scout, faithful friend always ready to take challenges, she is supporting us courageously in the great adventure of the wedding. Many thanks to her!
Jennifer
The famous Jennifer! My great partner in the engineering school of Paris with whom I have discovered the joys of computing, mangas and heroic fantasy. After several years of parting that we tried to fill with our weekly 6-page letters, life made that Jennifer, after showing me the hell of life in Paris, has discovered the joys of the Lorraine ;)... and seeing me more often ;) Her enthusiasm always made me feel good: the first time she saw me with Silviu, she immediately thought "That's it! He's the right one for her!"; when I asked her to be my witness, she was immediately happy when she thought of the preparations (now that's a proof of friendship! She didn't know yet what she was getting into!).
Well, I am now supported by two good witnesses, both of them taking their role very seriously! I will never thank them enough for their support and enthusiasm!
Groom's witnesses
Raphaël
Raphaël, Raph or Armatrap: since our year together at the university in Metz, he has been my best partner. First during our university year, where we always used to be on the same wavelength, and where we realised some great stuff that I still remember during our common works . Then, it was with him or because of him that I discovered scuba diving, New York, parachute, tree climbing... And we would have probably made a lot more if we could meet more often. Today, even if I have to go to the other end of France to see him, he's the one I feel the closest with. And I am even ready to accept to hear the accent of the southerner people if it means we can meet again. In a word, Armatrap is just like me, only a bit better.
Vladimir
Vladimir is my elder brother (by six years). As we have different personalities, we have not always been very close, but life thought us that in the last resort family is what matters the most and must always stay united. Today, because of the distance between our cities, we don't have that many contacts, but I hope he knows that if he ever needs me I'll be there for him just like he was for me when he helped me to start in my working life.
